We are relocating to Baltimore from Dallas, Texas in July because my husband will be working at Shock Trauma Hospital beginning August 1st and we want to rent the first year. My husband will be on call frequently at night at Shock Trauma so we don’t want to be terribly far away. My preference would be to rent a newly-constructed (or renovated) townhome with parking and a courtyard/yard since we have two dogs (both are extremely well-trained; a Labrador Retriever and a Rat Terrier). Our dogs frequently stay in nice hotels with us if that might help any owners with reservations about renting to someone with dogs. We don’t really care about harbor views that much. Parking and a yard are of great interest to me because I will be at home alone frequently with the twins while my husband is working. We really want to be in a safe area. I would love to be close to the Whole Foods Market in Baltimore, but that would be in an ideal world. The other factors are more important and being close to Whole Foods would just be a plus. Parking is key with infant twins, as I’m sure you can understand! Please note that we are also very receptive to renting a furnished property.
